TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week on campus in South San Francisco, CA)

Salary: $155,200 - $288,200

What you will do

  • Lead direct engagement with media publishers, broadcasters, and data providers to drive innovation in media execution and value addition.
  • Negotiate and contract joint business plans (JBPs) and incentive agreements with strategic media and technology providers.
  • Own the media innovation roadmap to achieve annual revenue and cost savings targets.
  • Design, execute, and measure first-in-industry media pilots, reporting successes and learnings to the marketing organization.
  • Collaborate with Digital, Data & Analytics teams and media agencies to scale successful pilots across the commercial organization.
  • Track digital marketing trends and provide guidance on appropriate investment levels for brand media budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience, including 3 years in commercial roles (marketing, sales, or customer insights).
  • Expertise in paid media strategy and buying, either from an agency or brand marketing background.
  • Experience with direct contracting of joint business plans (JBPs) or incentive agreements.
  • Experience in performance marketing, marketing analytics, or digital marketing roles.
  • Must be based in or able to work in South San Francisco, CA on a hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Hands-on experience with programmatic platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Google DV 360, TheTradeDesk) or web analytics (Google Analytics).
  • Exposure to large commercial media budgets exceeding $100M.
  • Experience developing training materials for new media strategies.
