What you will do

• Design and develop full stack applications to modernize legacy DHS ICE systems.
• Analyze complex legacy workflows to identify and extract core mission-critical functionality.
• Build backend services, APIs, and integration layers connecting legacy environments to modern platforms.
• Develop user-facing components using modern front-end technologies.
• Support the full SDLC, including analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot issues across application, integration, and data layers.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Must hold an active Public Trust clearance (no sponsorship provided).
• 7+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, poorly documented enterprise environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy system modernization or transformation efforts.
• Background supporting federal or mission-driven environments.
• Exposure to enterprise data platforms or large-scale system integrations.
