Salary: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate the press and manage all production tasks for the assigned shift.
• Direct workflow and delegate responsibilities to the press crew.
• Verify job configurations, run orders, and circulation requirements.
• Maintain quality control standards for all printed products.
• Complete all necessary production paperwork and communicate equipment issues to relevant departments.
• Prepare the press for subsequent shifts and obtain forklift certification.

Requirements

• Must have 3-5 years of proven performance as a Press Operator II or equivalent experience.
• Must be available for shift work, including hours outside of normal business hours.
• Must be willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• General understanding of the entire newspaper production process.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects.
