Focus on forecasting sales activity and revenue, planning customer visits, and using Salesforce.com to manage customer information while monitoring market and competitor activity.

What you will do

  • Call on established and prospective customers to sell products and services.
  • Plan customer visits 1–2 weeks in advance and strengthen client relationships across the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client concerns, needs, and account matters.
  • Upsell and cross-sell by developing a thorough understanding of products and service offerings.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to maintain service levels.
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue projections monthly, quarterly, and annually using Salesforce.com.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Science, Chemistry, Business, or relevant equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B selling role in a related industry.
  • Ability to clearly articulate how proposed solutions meet client business objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of contract terms, principles, and profitability calculations.
