What you will do

• Maintain and enhance a legacy PHP application supporting core business functions.
• Modernize the system by rewriting backend components into Python or Golang.
• Develop and integrate modern frontend solutions using React Router.
• Optimize database operations with MySQL and manage containerized environments using Docker.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP using Pulumi (Infrastructure as Code).
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive technical quality and process improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial software development experience with strong PHP expertise.
• Hands-on experience with PHP without frameworks for legacy system maintenance.
• Proficiency with React Router (must-have).
• Solid understanding of backend development, including Go (GORM).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• English level: B2+/C1 required.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating legacy systems to modern architectures (PHP to Python/Golang).
• Knowledge of Python to support backend transformation.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
