Salary: $10,155.00 - $15,842.17 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Operationalize fundraising strategy across the Faculty and advance leadership gift account strategies.
- Manage a personal portfolio of 75-150 major gift prospects, conducting 125-200 annual visits.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of career fundraisers.
- Develop compelling cases for support to convert shared interests into sustained investment for science education and research.
- Collaborate with senior administration, including the VP Development and University President, to maximize private and public sector support.
- Oversee administrative functions, including donor recognition and stewardship programs.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of related job experience, including 5 years in fundraising or alumni engagement.
- Proven success in building meaningful relationships within industry and managing major gift portfolios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for liaising with corporate executives and senior administrators.
- Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Nice to have
- Graduate degree or undergraduate degree in commerce, marketing, or economics.
- 3+ years of experience meeting annual metrics at the Associate Director level.
- Thorough knowledge of the university environment and academic structure.
- Experience working with a centralized fundraising system.
