What you will do

• Lead high-level architectural discussions and defend the scalability and stability of event-driven cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute production-grade code and conduct peer Merge Request reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering an environment of psychological safety and continuous growth.
• Translate high-level business goals into actionable technical objectives in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Drive ownership and an entrepreneurial spirit within the squad, keeping customer impact at the center of work.

Requirements

• Proven track record of designing and scaling distributed, event-driven systems in SaaS or IoT environments.
• Fluency in Node.js/TypeScript (NestJS) or IoT stack (C++, Python) and AWS cloud architectures.
• Experience in leadership roles, such as Engineering Manager or Senior/Staff Engineer.
• English: C1+ level is mandatory.
• Must be based in the EU or able to work from the Munich office.
• Deep proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Linear.

Nice to have

• German language proficiency.
