What you will do

• Extract and process datasets from Databricks, transforming them into graph-ready models for benchmarking.
• Deploy and configure graph database environments (Neo4j, TigerGraph) ensuring reproducible test conditions.
• Develop benchmark queries using graph query languages (Cypher, GSQL, etc.) and compare against PostgreSQL recursive CTE baselines.
• Build APIs and testing layers to evaluate real-world query performance across various workloads.
• Produce structured analysis, scoring frameworks, and technical documentation for architecture recommendations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• Strong experience in data engineering with Databricks or equivalent large-scale platforms.
• Proven experience with at least two graph database technologies (preference for Neo4j and/or TigerGraph).
• Advanced PostgreSQL expertise, including recursive CTEs, query planning, and indexing strategies.
• Ability to design and execute structured performance benchmarks in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of graph query languages and translating relational logic into graph patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience in KYC/AML data environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based database workloads.
• Experience with AWS-managed database infrastructure.
