What you will do

• Design and evolve AWS infrastructure for the Data Platform, including Redshift, S3, Postgres, and Sagemaker.
• Build self-service workflows and "Golden Paths" to reduce operational overhead for data engineering and science teams.
• Develop platform capabilities to identify and remove friction points, improving overall developer experience.
• Embed security, reliability, observability, and compliance directly into platform capabilities.
• Lead architectural discussions and mentor engineers on cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Optimize the scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency of the data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Platform, Infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps Engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS cloud environments and production-grade Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm.
• Experience implementing data observability, including freshness and quality checks.
• Proficiency in English for daily communication, documentation, and technical discussions.
• Experience working with AI augmentation tools for engineering tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps practices, DBT, Cosmos, or data mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience designing multi-country, multi-tenant data platforms.
• Experience implementing security guardrails and policy-as-code.
