What you will do
- Design and evolve AWS infrastructure for the Data Platform, including Redshift, S3, Postgres, and Sagemaker.
- Build self-service workflows and "Golden Paths" to reduce operational overhead for data engineering and science teams.
- Develop platform capabilities to identify and remove friction points, improving overall developer experience.
- Embed security, reliability, observability, and compliance directly into platform capabilities.
- Lead architectural discussions and mentor engineers on cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
- Optimize the scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency of the data infrastructure.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Platform, Infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps Engineering.
- Deep expertise with AWS cloud environments and production-grade Kubernetes (EKS).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm.
- Experience implementing data observability, including freshness and quality checks.
- Proficiency in English for daily communication, documentation, and technical discussions.
- Experience working with AI augmentation tools for engineering tasks.
Nice to have
- Experience with GitOps practices, DBT, Cosmos, or data mesh technologies.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience designing multi-country, multi-tenant data platforms.
- Experience implementing security guardrails and policy-as-code.
