Location: Must be based in Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, UAE, or the UK (Hybrid or Remote options available).

Salary: PLN 39,700 – PLN 44,100 gross monthly (for Poland-based roles).

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable observability solutions for logs, metrics, and traces.
• Build robust APIs and data pipelines for real-time data ingestion and processing.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Optimize observability infrastructure for performance, cost-effectiveness, and user experience.
• Develop automation tooling for component onboarding and sunsetting.
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap and feature development of the observability platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with 3+ years in observability or distributed systems.
• Expertise in designing APIs and data pipelines for high-throughput environments.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK stack, Jaeger, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Primary engineering language: Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and incident response best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or developer experience roles.
• Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Contributions to open-source observability projects.
• Track record of prototyping solutions for complex technical problems.
