What you will do
- Design and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices focusing on performance and reliability.
- Implement Spring Boot applications using clean code, testing, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with DevOps to containerize applications and integrate CI/CD pipelines.
- Build robust asynchronous systems using event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.
- Design efficient relational database integrations to ensure data integrity and responsiveness.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development using Java 8+.
- Fullstack proficiency across backend and frontend technologies (Angular or React).
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring framework ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful microservices and optimized SQL queries.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Must be based in Romania.
- Strong English communication skills.
Nice to have
- German language skills.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and monitoring Java applications.
- Knowledge of security best practices in backend development.
