TL;DR

Account Development Representative (Sales): Building the top of the sales funnel by creating conversations with prospective customers and generating new pipeline opportunities through outbound prospecting. Focus on mastering sales fundamentals, handling objections, and leveraging AI tools to drive business growth in a high-expectation environment.

Location: Must be based within 35 miles of the office in Durham, North Carolina. This is a 5-day onsite role.

What you will do

  • Prospect into target accounts to open doors with new partners and create business opportunities.
  • Initiate daily outbound outreach to prospective customers to build interest in solutions.
  • Qualify opportunities, handle objections, and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Research accounts and identify buying signals to support account strategy.
  • Utilize CRM, AI, and sales engagement tools to maintain operating discipline.
  • Achieve monthly performance goals related to activity quality and pipeline creation.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in sales, recruiting, or metric-driven environments.
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Durham, NC.
  • Must live within 35 miles of the office location.
  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Strong desire to build a long-term career in sales.
  • Experience using AI and AI-related technologies in daily workflows.
