TL;DR

Salary: $190,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

  • Define and execute the strategic vision for the Trust & Safety department, including roadmap and goal setting.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of content moderation contractors.
  • Scale moderation services by improving workflows, tools, and processes to handle increasing content volume.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, and product teams to implement risk-mitigation features.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of global content policies, including advertising and IP enforcement.
  • Manage relationships with law enforcement, external vendors, and legal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in content moderation and trust & safety.
  • Expertise in global regulations such as GDPR, TCO, DSA, and OSA.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong understanding of moderation methods including hash matching, machine learning, and AI services.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics for decision-making and reporting.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and legal escalations.
