What you will do

• Architect financial reporting and compliance solutions ensuring audit readiness and ASC 606 adherence.
• Own end-to-end reporting model quality and maintain long-term data integrity across implementations.
• Serve as the senior accounting escalation point for consultants on compliant design decisions.
• Develop best-practice frameworks for commission capitalization and amortization under ASC 340 and IFRS 15.
• Translate unique customer requirements into repeatable reporting configurations and dashboards.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to influence data-output standards and product enhancements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in financial modeling or reporting within sales compensation, ERP, or financial-systems environments.
• Accounting or finance background (CPA, MBA, or degree) with a solid grasp of ASC 606.
• Proven experience designing financial reporting systems or compensation-related data models.
• Advanced Excel or Sheets skills for complex, large-dataset modeling.
• Demonstrated customer-facing consulting experience across discovery, design, and delivery phases.
• Must be based in the USA or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global, Xactly, Varicent, SAP Commissions, or Anaplan.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zuora.
• Exposure to SQL or Python for financial data analysis and automation.
• Background in FP&A, revenue operations, or audit/compliance.
