What you will do

• Design and execute deployment architectures, including VPC configuration, permissioning, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage the full infrastructure lifecycle for critical enterprise customers, including initial deployment, upgrades, and scaling.
• Develop and maintain deployment runbooks and automation tooling to ensure repeatable and reliable operations.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to ensure the platform is operable across diverse customer environments.
• Collaborate with customers' platform and security teams to navigate infrastructure constraints and compliance requirements.
• Scope infrastructure requirements during pre-sales and onboarding to create concrete deployment plans.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or solutions architecture with customer-facing work.
• Deep experience with AWS services, Terraform, container orchestration, and cloud networking (VPCs, IAM, DNS).
• Track record of managing deployments in customer-owned cloud environments and navigating security reviews.
• Ability to turn complex infrastructure conversations with enterprise stakeholders into actionable plans.
• Excellent English and Japanese speaking and writing communication.
• Must be based in Tokyo for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Go services, GraphQL APIs, or LLM infrastructure in production.
• Experience at an early-stage company building deployment operations and playbooks.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and infrastructure self-service tooling for enterprises.
