TL;DR
Senior Auditor (IT Audit): Establishing and shaping the IT SOX program by designing and implementing IT general controls and IT-dependent business process controls with an accent on compliance and risk management. What you will do
- Perform and document scoping for the IT SOX program.
- Provide guidance on IT general controls (ITGC) and IT-dependent business process controls, including application and report-reliant controls.
- Collaborate with Corporate IT, Finance IT, and Engineering teams to evaluate and update IT policies, SOPs, and data flow diagrams.
- Coordinate walkthroughs and testing for internal and external auditors, including a review of audit work papers.
- Track and manage the remediation of identified control deficiencies in a timely manner.
- Monitor emerging risks and project manage control design for new products and system implementations prior to launch.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in internal or external IT auditing, preferably within Big 4 firms or public companies with complex IT environments.
- Detailed understanding of COBIT, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and the COSO framework.
- Proven ability to articulate complex IT risks and required action plans to non-audit stakeholders in Finance and Engineering.
- Must be based in Managua, Nicaragua
Nice to have
- Professional certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIPP.
- Experience using spreadsheet, slide, and flowcharting tools.
