Software Engineer (Kubernetes)

Software Engineer (Kubernetes): Develop and maintain a distributed data and compute platform infrastructure (on-premise cloud solution) for semiconductor process tuning applications. With an accent on Kubernetes migration, container orchestration, and automation. Focus on designing automated test suites, resolving stability issues, and supporting high uptime in semiconductor factories.

Location: Onsite in Linkou, Taiwan with possible travel to customer sites and Netherlands HQ for training

What you will do

• Develop and deliver key features to improve operational efficiency of customer teams
• Support virtual compute platform (VCP) go-lives and handle escalations on-site
• Bridge teams between Netherlands and Asia to accelerate issue resolution
• Participate in system qualification and test automation to enhance platform reliability
• Automate installations and upgrades using Ansible and Python

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Linkou, Taiwan
• Experience with Kubernetes, Python, Ansible, Linux administration, and networking
• Knowledge of container orchestration, TCP/IP, firewall troubleshooting, and virtual machines
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Fluent spoken and written English or willingness to develop English skills
• BSc or MSc in software engineering, computer science, IT, or related field

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, HBASE, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with event & messaging systems, security, storage, alert & monitoring solutions
