What you will do
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs across plant systems in compliance with HSEQ regulations and safe systems of work.
- Plan and execute maintenance tasks, conduct risk assessments, and report HSE issues promptly.
- Inspect, lubricate, and adjust plant equipment to maintain optimal performance and organized work areas.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members to support a safety-first culture across the site.
- Participate in HSE inspections, audits, and safety meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship (essential)
- Experience within a heavy process or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of gearboxes, conveyors, valves, steam systems, and hydraulics
- Experience in fault diagnosis, maintenance planning, and outage support
