Location: Based in Helsinki, Finland, or Lund, Sweden. Travelling is required as part of the role.

What you will do

• Drive the operational deployment of the collection and recycling agenda in Finland and the Baltics.
• Act as the primary contact for recycling systems and market development, supporting market operations.
• Monitor and influence regulatory developments to ensure compliance with EU legislation, such as PPWR.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs), sorters, recyclers, and retailers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Affairs, Marketing, and commercial teams to create momentum for priority topics.
• Translate high-level sustainability priorities into practical, local action plans and recommendations.

Requirements

• University degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, natural sciences, or international affairs.
• Several years of experience in sustainability, circularity, collection, recycling, or regulatory affairs.
• Deep understanding of operational and regulatory topics linked to recycling systems.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and execute projects in complex, cross-functional environments.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in the Finnish language.
• Experience with producer responsibility, policy development, or recycling value chain collaboration.
