What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, interoperable data management solutions using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse).
• Develop robust ETL pipelines via Data Factory and Dataflows Gen2 utilizing SQL, DAX, and PySpark for complex modeling.
• Architect modern data patterns, including medallion architecture and dimensional modeling to support performant enterprise reporting in Power BI.
• Integrate healthcare-specific data from Epic (Clarity/Caboodle) and enterprise imaging solutions (EMR/EHR, HIS, CIS).
• Establish and enforce data governance, lineage, and stewardship standards across Fabric environments in compliance with HIPAA and HITECH.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate business requirements into sound technical architecture.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in database architecture, cloud solutions, and ETL processing.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse) and PySpark.
• Experience managing structured and unstructured data within healthcare environments and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency in SQL and DAX for data transformation and modeling.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare data architecture and complex medical data systems.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Knowledge of HL7 FHIR and API-based healthcare integrations.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms for medical image analysis.
• Experience with CI/CD practices for Fabric and Power BI deployments.
