What you will do
- Own Data Science for specific markets/industries and act as a business partner for country, commercial, product, and technology leaders.
- Collaborate directly with clients to translate strategic business needs into innovative analytical solutions.
- Design and conduct studies and tests to build proof-of-concept and prototypes for various use cases.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of junior data scientists, setting clear performance objectives.
- Leverage large, diverse datasets and state-of-the-art technologies to create innovative, out-of-the-box solutions.
- Identify and evaluate third-party capabilities and datasets to develop new product offerings.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field involving statistical analysis of large data sets.
- 5+ years of experience in market research or a relevant field.
- Solid understanding of the CPG/FMCG industry and retail market impact on client business.
- Strong proficiency in Statistics and critical/logical thinking for data analysis.
- Great command of written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Experience with eCommerce, webscraping solutions, or consumer-sourced data solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Spotfire or Tableau.
