What you will do

• Own end-to-end design from research and user flows to wireframes and polished UI.
• Create intuitive, AI-driven commerce experiences tailored specifically for Japanese users.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap and ship high-quality features.
• Validate design decisions using user research, testing, and data.
• Maintain and contribute to the hirify.global design system to ensure product consistency across surfaces.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design with a strong portfolio of shipped consumer products.
• Proven ability to own the design process from problem framing to final UI.
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems.
• Strong grasp of mobile-first and responsive design.
• Business-level Japanese and English proficiency.
• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.

Nice to have

• Experience designing large-scale mobile consumer apps, particularly in commerce or content.
• Familiarity with user research methods and collaborating with dedicated researchers.
• Exposure to CTV, large-screen design, or AI-driven product experiences.
