What you will do

• Build data science solutions to increase customer engagement and transaction growth for GoPay.
• Design and implement algorithms for search, recommendation, and advertising systems to drive discovery and conversion.
• Develop user behavior and query understanding models using LLMs and LLVMs to improve matching accuracy.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle from technical problem formulation to production deployment.
• Rapidly prototype solutions and run A/B tests to analyze metrics like CTR, conversion rate, and NDCG.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and business analysts.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in applied data science or machine learning roles.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, including supervised learning, ranking, and embeddings.
• Hands-on experience with recommender systems, personalization, search, or ranking models.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets using platforms like Spark or MaxCompute.
• English: Good written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience integrating LLMs/LLVMs into search or recommendation pipelines.
• Proven track record of improving ranking, retrieval, or ad targeting models.
