What you will do
- Oversee the strategy, architecture, development, and operation of the company's data and AI platforms.
- Lead the identification and resolution of company-wide data challenges using cutting-edge platform solutions.
- Provide visionary technical direction and hands-on leadership to solve complex data problems.
- Mentor the data platform team, nurturing both technical and professional development.
- Advocate for best practices and instil a culture of craftsmanship and innovation across the data realm.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Data Platform or a quantitative field.
- Proven experience leading company-wide initiatives and influencing tech roadmap planning.
- Expertise in ETL frameworks, metrics stores, infrastructure management, and data security.
- Experience building and maintaining reliable multi-geographical data pipelines at scale.
- Proficiency with workflow or orchestration frameworks such as Airflow and DBT.
- Must be based in Singapore.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience designing data processing patterns for modern Lakehouse architecture.
- Experience with GCP, Databricks, BigQuery, DataProc, Kafka, Kubernetes, Spark, and DataFlow.
- Ability to rapidly evaluate new technologies and conduct proof-of-concepts for architecture design.
- Excellent communication skills tailored for diverse audiences, including leadership.
