SQA Automation Engineer (Networking): Executing and developing automation test scripts for networking products with an accent on Layer2/Layer3 functionality, performance, and security. Location: Must be based in Taipei, Taiwan. Role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence 3 days a week at the Neihu Engineering Center.

What you will do

• Execute automation scripts to verify Layer2/Layer3 functionality, device performance, and security.
• Develop and modify new automation test cases and scripts per the test plan.
• Perform functional testing and report issues found during execution.
• Set up and maintain automation test beds for networking hardware.
• Learn and understand the specific functions and features of products under test.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in networking product testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, TCP/IP, NAT, Firewall, IGMP, NTP, DNS, HTTPS, 802.1x, QoS, and SNMP.
• Familiarity with networking devices such as ethernet switches, routers, and access points.
• Experience with traffic generators like Ixia and Spirent.
• Ability to work onsite in Taipei 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation script development for Layer2/Layer3 switches.
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming.
• Experience with Selenium, Robot Framework, or other automated testing frameworks.
