Pre-Sales Systems Engineer (Networking): Developing and implementing complex networking solutions for State, Local, and Education (SLED) government accounts with an accent on L2/L3 routing, WLAN, and WAN. Location: Remote (USA). Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder at time of hire; sponsorship is not available. Role supports accounts in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Salary: USD 175,000 - 411,500 per year

What you will do
- Provide pre-sales technical support for the development of complex networking products and solutions.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and convert leads into successful engagements.
- Present and articulate the value of HPE Networking solutions versus competitors to prospective clients.
- Design and manage tailored hardware, software, and service combinations to meet customer needs.
- Perform technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers and partners.
- Maintain and manage a sales pipeline and forecasts against regional goals.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship provided).
- 6+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years with a Master's degree.
- In-depth knowledge of L2/L3 networking, routing, WLAN, LAN, and WAN with at least 4 years of hands-on experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for interfacing with senior-level organizations.
- Ability to mentor junior Systems Engineers within the assigned territory.
- Expert-level certifications with Aruba and Juniper are strongly preferred.
