What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of level designers, fostering collaboration and professional development.
• Drive the creative vision and execution of levels to support gameplay, narrative, and artistic goals.
• Collaborate with environment artists, narrative designers, and systems designers to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Review and provide feedback on level layouts, encounter balance, and worldbuilding consistency.
• Contribute hands-on to level blockouts, encounter scripting, and gameplay prototyping.
• Establish and refine level design workflows, pipelines, and best practices for scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional level design experience in the game industry.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or senior design role.
• Track record of shipping at least one title in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Experience working with level design tools in engines such as Unity or Unreal.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for a remote-first environment.
• US-based or eligible to work for KRAFTON Americas.
