What you will do
- Own map development from initial blockout to polished, art-integrated playable levels.
- Design multiplayer arenas for an asymmetrical FPS, balancing readability with tactical depth and verticality.
- Define game navigation rules and translate them into concrete gameplay implications.
- Establish and maintain level design metrics including scale, pacing, and engagement distances.
- Rapidly prototype ideas using Unreal Blueprints to validate gameplay with Art and Tech teams.
- Protect and define the core gameplay loop during the prototype phase.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of level design experience.
- Proven experience designing multiplayer maps with high replay value and deliberate verticality.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Unreal Engine and Blueprints for scripting prototypes.
- Experience shipping or prototyping multiplayer games.
- Solid fundamentals in space, pacing, flow, and player guidance.
- Comfortable designing for sci-fi settings and collaborating across distributed teams.
