What you will do

• Build and maintain multi-tenant infrastructure powering large-scale enterprise customers.
• Architect systems that aggregate platform requests while meeting strict SLAs for availability, latency, and throughput.
• Own cross-domain product features such as tax systems, compliance-driven flows, and monetization tools.
• Design technical solutions and integrations for enterprise prospects to enable high-value contracts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Compliance, and Sales teams to shape embedded finance products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives with measurable technical or business impact.
• Proven ability to design for scale, maintainability, and production excellence.
• Skill in balancing flexibility and simplicity within system and component design.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in London to support a hybrid work mode.

Nice to have

• Experience in Fintech, payments, or other regulated industries.
• High-scale performance tuning (100k+ QPS) and strict latency SLA management.
• Background in multi-tenant SaaS or platform architecture.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with OAuth2.0, API design, or cross-region deployment and data residency.
