What you will do

• Own Product Legal Program execution: track compliance rollouts, monitor upcoming global legal/regulatory updates, manage workstreams, and keep stakeholders accountable to deadlines.
• Architect legal operations & routing: oversee incoming legal request routing/tracking and build/optimize Jira workflows and automations to reduce manual overhead.
• Build and maintain next-gen AI tooling: partner to develop AI tools/agents/prompts (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to automate repetitive legal tasks and scale institutional knowledge.
• Maintain data-driven dashboards: collect, maintain, and analyze operational metrics such as ticket volumes, product review status, and compliance risks.
• Streamline engineering & product advisory: transform legal requirements into repeatable project plans and automated guardrails.
• Drive proactive continuous improvement: audit bottlenecks and implement workflow/technical adjustments to help the legal organization scale with company growth.

Requirements

• Program management or paralegal experience in a fast-paced in-house technology company or major technology-focused law firm; familiarity with legal concepts and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong tech literacy and willingness to use advanced AI productivity/coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) plus Jira for operational infrastructure; any coding experience is a plus.
• Extreme autonomy and accountability: independently uncover problems, design solutions, and drive them to completion.
• Project and compliance management discipline: track regulatory changes, roll out compliance initiatives, and maintain rigorous schedules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interface with senior legal counsel and influence engineering/product timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent practical operational experience.
