What you will do
- Own the editorial voice, calendar, and commissioning process.
- Leverage your existing network to commission original work from senior technical voices.
- Edit contributions with conviction to ensure sharpness and alignment with the platform's standards.
- Write original long-form content when required.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Growth leads to align editorial output with brand and distribution goals.
- Maintain a high bar for quality and editorial integrity.
Requirements
- Engineering background: Professional experience writing code and deep understanding of the technical and cultural reality of senior engineers.
- Editorial expertise: Proven ability to edit content for a sophisticated technical audience.
- Industry network: Existing relationships with influential engineers and technical thinkers.
- Market knowledge: Familiarity with top-tier technical publications and a clear perspective on the current editorial landscape.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a fractional role (2-3 days per week).
