What you will do

• Own gameplay quality for large-scale battle royale spaces, seasonal map updates, and limited-time experiences.
• Design, build, and iterate on gameplay spaces from concept through ship, ensuring long-term map health.
• Prototype and refine environments using player feedback, telemetry, and live-game data to improve gameplay outcomes.
• Collaborate with Environment Art and Systems Design to ensure alignment between gameplay, visual direction, and game systems.
• Contribute to design reviews and establish quality standards to elevate level design across the team.
• Mentor and support other designers through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional level design experience with multiple shipped titles, including multiplayer or live-service games.
• Proven experience owning large-scale competitive multiplayer environments from blockout to polish.
• Deep understanding of spatial gameplay design, including combat pacing, traversal, and sightline management.
• Battle Royale design experience, specifically in POI development, drop strategy, and rotations.
• Ability to drive design direction independently using playtesting, telemetry, and analytics.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering across Design, Art, Engineering, and Production.
