What you will do

• Set the long-term architectural strategy for a Kubernetes ecosystem managing thousands of nodes.
• Design intuitive interfaces and tooling to simplify infrastructure consumption for internal customers.
• Solve complex scaling bottlenecks by leveraging deep expertise in Kubernetes internals, custom controllers, and etcd.
• Architect robust security, isolation, and identity solutions for multi-tenant workloads.
• Lead the design of advanced automation, observability, and self-healing systems to ensure high availability.
• Mentor senior and staff-level engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes internals, including custom controllers and operators.
• Proven track record of operating mission-critical infrastructure at high throughput and low latency.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native security, identity solutions, and container networking.
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Must have existing United States work authorization (H-1B sponsorship not supported at this time).
