What you will do

• Design and implement state-level strategies to influence RFP/RFI language and position products effectively.
• Manage state-level lobbyists to execute policy and advocacy goals across a subset of states.
• Build and maintain relationships with state departments of education, legislators, and key influencers.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for inclusion on state-approved assessment and curriculum lists.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate legislative requirements into actionable business and product insights.
• Represent the company at national organizations and conferences to advance the policy agenda.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US and able to work remotely.
• Proven history of business development or policy accomplishments at the federal, state, or large district level.
• Deep understanding of national and state-level educational assessments, curriculum, and policy ecosystems.
• Experience working directly with senior leadership and external stakeholder organizations.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and Quorum.
