Educational Consultant (ELA/Biliterate)

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL. This is an onsite role requiring up to 80% travel.

Compensation: $30/hour for internal training/travel; $65/hour for facilitating professional learning sessions.

What you will do

• Deliver on-site product training and professional learning courses for teachers and administrators.
• Provide tailored support to educators, including lesson planning, pacing, and data analysis.
• Adjust professional learning workshops to meet the specific needs of participants.
• Collaborate with the Director of Professional Learning and sales teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Track and submit detailed training notes and documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain a professional image while representing the company to customers and prospects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in teaching or coaching ELA/Reading.
• Must be biliterate in English and another language.
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to Chicago, IL.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation required for significant travel.
• Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards for ELA/Reading (K-8).
• High level of comfort with digital tools, online assessments, and data application.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in ELA or Reading.
• Experience with online meeting platforms like Zoom or WebEx.
