Location: Must be based in the UK, with the majority of meetings held in London.

Salary: £33,000 base fee per annum, with an additional £5,000 for committee chairs.

What you will do

• Provide an independent, objective viewpoint to test and constructively challenge management.
• Contribute to the development of effective strategy and organizational change.
• Ensure the hirify.global maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Act in the public interest, balancing the mission of the hirify.global with the impact of decisions on the wider UK media market.
• Represent the hirify.global to a wide range of stakeholders, including audiences, parliamentarians, and the media.
• Act as a role model for a strong, positive, and inclusive culture within the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK to attend regular board meetings in London and other hirify.global sites.
• Proven experience of top-level leadership within business, government, or the public sector.
• Experience sitting on or chairing main boards of large-scale organizations as a non-executive director.
• Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing media organizations in the UK and globally.
• Strong financial stewardship experience and ability to secure value for money.
• Must not be politically active while serving on the Board.
