What you will do

• Conduct regular audits of customer underwriting decisions to assess quality, consistency, and risk.
• Review medical underwriting cases for Individual Protection products and evaluate decision outcomes.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for enhanced efficiency and performance.
• Produce and share insight reports with recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to drive continuous improvement and open communication.
• Support internal, reinsurance, and compliance audits, following up on resulting actions.

Requirements

• Experience within a protection underwriting or underwriting audit environment.
• Strong understanding of underwriting principles, processes, and decision-making frameworks.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• Confidence in communicating findings and influencing stakeholders constructively.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Cardiff for hybrid work.
