What you will do

• Design, optimize, and maintain core matching engine, order book, and transaction clearing components.
• Collaborate on designing and unit-testing new features and system modifications.
• Implement real-time, low-latency data streaming services using WebSockets.
• Model business logic using efficient data structures and design patterns.
• Document source code and maintain readable API documentation.
• Utilize software engineering tools including Git, Jenkins, and Maven.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• At least 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Solid understanding of trading and matching engine mechanics.
• Experience building high-performance, low-latency, and high-throughput systems.
• Proficiency in Java application frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with WebSocket development and relational databases.

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto, blockchain, or Web3.
• Familiarity with in-memory computing or lock-free data structures.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Golang.
