TL;DR

Compensation Analyst II (Total Rewards): Own day-to-day operations of global compensation and equity programs, including maintaining salary structures, running market analyses, and administering RSU/option equity lifecycles. Focus on pay equity monitoring, compensation cycle tooling and auditing, and building dashboards that translate sensitive compensation data into clear stakeholder guidance.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $113,000-$139,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

  • Maintain and refine global salary bands and job architecture; ensure alignment with market data and internal equity.
  • Run ongoing benchmarking using compensation survey methodologies and recommend pay positioning.
  • Support annual merit, promotion, and compensation review cycles, including tooling, input review, and output auditing.
  • Administer equity grants end-to-end (RSUs and stock options), including vesting schedules, termination processing, and equity lifecycle events.
  • Build and maintain compensation dashboards and reports for leadership visibility into spend, distribution, and equity.
  • Partner with People Partners, Finance, Legal, and the equity platform provider to keep programs accurate, compliant, and scalable.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or a related analytical function (finance, HR analytics, or consulting).
  • Strong understanding of broad-based compensation principles: salary structures, market pricing, job leveling, and pay equity.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including working with large datasets and building structured models.
  • Experience with at least one compensation survey methodology (e.g., Radford/Aon, Mercer, Compdata).
  • Clear, effective communication skills to explain compensation decisions to non-specialists.
  • Ability to handle sensitive compensation and employee data with confidentiality; No visa sponsorship or immigration support.
