What you will do

• Develop integrated Quantum Design Automation solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
• Map system-level quantum specifications to classical and quantum circuit simulations.
• Implement and analyze quantum IC layouts.
• Perform characterization of superconducting quantum hardware using Virtuoso, Spectre, and Clarity.
• Engage directly with end-users to refine product requirements and performance.

Requirements

• Substantial professional experience in quantum engineering.
• PhD in quantum engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools: Virtuoso, Spectre, and Clarity.
• Location: Must be based in San Jose, CA.
• Exceptional communication skills for internal and external collaboration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with alternative quantum hardware modalities such as neutral atoms, trapped ions, or photonic systems.
