What you will do
- Lead the design and execution of evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for AI/ML systems (text, vision, generative AI).
- Architect and develop scalable AI services and reusable platforms to support multiple product teams.
- Build GenAI-driven systems, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows, optimizing for performance and reliability.
- Drive best practices in experimentation, versioning, and reproducibility across applied AI systems.
- Partner with product managers to define success criteria and assess technical feasibility of AI features.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into broader product architectures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Applied AI, Machine Learning Engineering, or AI Systems Engineering.
- Must be based in the Singapore office.
- Strong programming skills in Python and software engineering fundamentals (API design, modular codebases).
- Experience building backend services for AI systems using FastAPI, NodeJS, or similar.
- Proven ability to deploy AI workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
