What you will do

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines to ingest infrastructure and business system data.
  • Define data models and schemas to support operational workflows and analytics.
  • Implement permissioning and manage security for the Palantir Foundry implementation.
  • Create trusted datasets and metrics to enable self-serve analytics across the organization.
  • Establish data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data reliability.
  • Codify data lineage and governance practices for a fast-scaling platform.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including ontology modeling and pipeline development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python with experience using Spark, PySpark, Dask, or pandas.
  • Familiarity with API-driven data integration (REST, GraphQL, Foundry Action APIs).
  • Practical experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
  • Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure telemetry.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, monitoring data, or usage-based billing.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing data products.
