What you will do

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility entrances, switchgear, UPS systems, and generators.
• Ensure continuous uptime and redundancy performance for critical IT loads.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical systems.
• Lead root cause analysis for power incidents and manage electrical safety programs.
• Review electrical designs for facility expansions and coordinate with contractors and utility providers.
• Mentor power engineers and technicians while providing technical escalation support during emergencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power, or Energy Systems Engineering.
• 8–15+ years of experience in data center facilities engineering or mission-critical operations.
• Must be authorized to work in Finland.
• Strong expertise in high-voltage systems, protective relaying, and generator synchronization.
• Proficiency with SCADA, BMS, and EPMS systems.
• Deep knowledge of NFPA, IEEE, and OSHA electrical safety standards.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or similar certifications.
• Experience with Tier III/Tier IV data center environments.
• Licensed High Voltage Switching Operator.
