TL;DR
Microsoft Power Platform Software Engineer (Azure): Designing and implementing automation solutions using low-code platforms and Azure to drive business value for internal customers with an accent on scalable application development and system governance. Focus on integrating Power Platform with M365, managing ALM, and optimizing business processes through API integrations.
Location: Richmond, VA. US Work Authorization required; no visa sponsorship provided.

What you will do
- Consult with global internal customers to define requirements and design automation solutions.
- Identify and recommend new automation opportunities and integrations.
- Administer existing solutions and establish system governance and configuration standards.
- Implement security controls and oversee licensing, access provisioning, and entitlements.
- Provide end-user support, training, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation services to ensure high availability and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or 4+ years military experience).
- 2+ years of experience in automation engineering and business process design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot Studio).
- Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of Power Platform governance and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Must have valid US Work Authorization.
Nice to have
- Experience with modern data concepts (Database, Data Lakes, SQL).
- Experience in Power BI development.
