What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure systems including distributed compute, orchestration, storage, and streaming.
- Scale the data platform by orders of magnitude while ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Partner with researchers to translate complex requirements into production-ready systems.
- Harden and optimize critical data infrastructure powering multimodal training and evaluation.
- Manage distributed data pipelines to support rapid iteration cycles.
Requirements
- Strong experience with distributed systems and large-scale infrastructure.
- Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
- Proven rigor in building and maintaining reliable systems in high-stakes environments.
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and rapid change.
