Software Engineer (Java)

Location: You'll have the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid model in our offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Porto, or Kraków after relocating to Poland, Portugal, or Spain.

Revolut's Technology team builds world-class financial products from the ground up. They are looking for a Backend Engineer who wants to change the world and whose work will change the global financial landscape.

What you will do

• Build mobile APIs
• Develop microservices to evolve the architecture
• Perfect systems for risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing
• Focus on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems

Requirements

• Fluency with Java
• 6+ years of experience in backend development
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, maths, physics, or similar field
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin or Scala
• Experience in finance
• Experience in a start-up or scale-up
• Experience in a product-focused environment
