What you will do

• Design and build machine learning, NLP, and generative AI systems for scientific discovery and knowledge extraction.
• Work with large-scale datasets, including scientific publications, research data, and knowledge graphs.
• Develop capabilities for semantic search, information retrieval, entity extraction, classification, and summarization.
• Train, fine-tune, and integrate LLM-based solutions into production-ready systems.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for experimentation, inference, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex challenges into robust technical solutions.

Requirements

• Background in data science, machine learning, AI, NLP, statistics, applied mathematics, or computer science.
• Strong Python skills with a focus on clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including model evaluation and performance measurement.
• Experience working with large-scale text datasets (structured, semi-structured, or unstructured).
• Proficiency with tools such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to quality.
