What you will do

• Lead technical discovery and deliver credible demos for active enterprise deals.
• Design and build working POCs to demonstrate how Vapi fits into production workflows like IVR replacement and appointment scheduling.
• Partner closely with Account Executives on account strategy and handle technical objections.
• Create reusable integration artifacts and document common patterns to accelerate customer onboarding.
• Feed repeated product gaps and customer feedback back to engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture.
• Strong coding skills to build integrations, read API responses, and debug issues independently.
• Hands-on experience with voice, telephony, or contact center infrastructure (e.g., SIP, Twilio, Genesys, Five9).
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both engineers and executives.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from San Francisco or New York.
