What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of robust, cloud-native data architectures on AWS.
• Drive architectural strategy discussions with client leadership to align data initiatives with business objectives.
• Guide cross-functional teams of data engineers and scientists through complex architectural decisions.
• Architect platforms that natively support AI/ML workloads, including feature stores and inference infrastructure.
• Modernize legacy data structures while ensuring business continuity and scalability.
• Advise on data governance models and implement Data Mesh principles for domain-oriented ownership.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency (C1+) required for client communication and documentation.
• Solid experience in data architecture with a strong focus on AWS cloud technologies.
• Proven expertise in designing platforms that support AI/ML workloads as first-class use cases.
• Background in navigating legacy data systems and implementing migration strategies.
• Experience with Data Mesh principles and federated data governance models.
• Must be based in Brazil for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with MLOps platforms and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks.
• Experience in CPG, FMCG, or Retail industries.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning).
