What you will do

• Run client architectural strategy discussions and act as the senior technical advisor translating architecture decisions into business outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable, cloud-native data platforms and remove technical blockers during delivery.
• Architect AWS-based data lake solutions using Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns, including partitioning, schema evolution, and storage trade-offs.
• Modernize legacy data structures by designing migration strategies that minimize risk and maintain business continuity.
• Design AI/ML-ready platform capabilities, including feature engineering pipelines, feature stores, and inference serving infrastructure, with MLOps integrated from the start.
• Implement governance and Data Mesh principles, defining data quality, metadata management, and security/privacy controls for distributed architectures.

Requirements

• Solid experience in data architecture roles with a strong focus on cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above) for client communication, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven experience designing data platforms that support AI/ML workloads as first-class use cases (feature engineering, feature stores, and model serving).
• Demonstrated expertise modernizing legacy data systems and implementing migration strategies to cloud platforms.
• Experience with agentic AI technologies and enthusiasm for applying AI-driven solutions in data architecture contexts.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to handle complex, ambiguous architecture challenges and explain concepts to executives and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with MLOps platforms and deployment automation for model training pipelines.
• Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks for large-scale data transformation.
• Industry experience in CPG, FMCG, Retail, or similar consumer-focused sectors.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Data Analytics, Machine Learning).
